About Us
Students
Northside Elementary School is located on the west side of Elko, Nevada, and is part of the Elko County School District. We are the home of the Mustangs! We service 325 students from pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. We employ only highly qualified faculty and dedicated staff members. We boast a small teacher to student ratio and enjoy an involved community with a fantastic PTA.

Northside provides a safe and respectful learning environment where all succeed.
School Performance Plans (SPPs) are a component of a larger Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) that schools engage in throughout the school year.
SPPs contain detailed information about practices and strategies being implemented at each school in Elko County School District. Each plan identifies goals and action steps designed to improve learning for all students.
We offer a great deal of services and programs to supplement the educational goals of our students. They include the following:
Dyslexia Interventionist Services
Mustangs of the Month
Northside G2 Choir
Northside Music Club
Northside Tutoring
Northside Lucky Coders STEAM Club
Pre-K
STEM Fair
Title IX

Our parent teacher group is committed to the success of each student who attends our school. We host fundraisers that help support needed programs and equipment for our school. Together, we work on issues that directly affect each child at our school. We believe that the more involved a parent or guardian is in their child’s education, the more successful that child will be.
As always, PTA membership is $10 a year. We are Mustang Strong, so get involved today! Have a question? Reach out to us via email; we’re happy to help!
