Intramural Wrestling took place last weekend in Spring Creek where Camden G. and Russell P. represented the Leopards. Photos of Russell will be uploaded shortly.
Today, we are excited to be hosting a dynamic Career Fair at the high school. Our focus is to provide students with a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of career options within our local community. We are thrilled to have a diverse selection of vendors on site, each offering valuable insights into their respective fields. From healthcare to technology, business to skilled trades, the Career Fair aims to inspire and inform students about the many exciting and rewarding career paths available to them. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the vendors who have come out to participate and help make this day a resounding success!

Each summer, Wells Rural Electric Company (WREC) sponsors a group of high school juniors from across the service territory to attend one of two leadership camps, the Michael F. Peterson Youth Leadership Challenge at Snow College or the Idaho Consumer-Owned Utilities Association Youth Rally at College of Idaho.
Both camps will be held the week of July 8th and are full of opportunities to compete for scholarships, develop leadership skills, build self-esteem, and make lasting friendships with others throughout the region. Among the students who are selected to attend the five day, all expenses paid conference, two will be selected to represent WREC at the NRECA National Youth Tour in Washington D.C.
Juniors in high school who will graduate in 2025 are encouraged to apply. To be eligible, the student’s immediate family must receive electric service from WREC.
Students can apply online at https://www.wrec.coop/community/youth-programs/ before midnight on March 15th.
Starting Monday, March 11th, all students in the 3rd to 8th grade will be taking the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) tests. It is essential that your student is well-prepared for these tests, and therefore, we request you ensure that your child is well-rested and has a nutritious breakfast. This will help your child perform at their best and achieve their potential.
Hello Parents and Students of the Graduated Class of 2023!!
We are reaching out because per federal law (Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act), ECSD is required to administer a ‘Follow-Up Survey’ of all graduates to gather data related to their post-graduation successes! Our data is due by April 1, 2024, so please respond promptly.
Please complete the following quick four-question Google Form https://forms.gle/BRRFpnhvdNp95s1E6.
Parents/Guardians or students from the Class of 2023 can fill it out. The survey only needs to be filled out once per graduate. We are required by law to reach out at least 3 times, so even if you fill it out, you may receive several requests.
If you have any questions regarding this survey, please contact Heather Steel, ECSD CTE Facilitator at 775-753-5575 x 1554 or hsteel@ecsdnv.net for assistance.
