Student Programs and Services

We are finding innovative ways every year to enhance our students’ learning experience. One day, students may work with a new computer-based program to improve their reading and math skills and be outside learning about nature the next. Learn more about our programs below.

Northside Elementary provides Dyslexia Interventionist Services. This service provides intensive and targeted reading services by a certified interventionist. This service is essential in helping our students achieve academic success. For more information, please contact our main office.

Watch D.O.G.S

We are happy to welcome our volunteer moms, dads, and caregivers to this program. Our Watch Dogs assist our students in the classrooms, in the lunchroom, and during recess. They also patrol the halls and promote family relationships. Northside has a few rules we’d like you to follow.

  • Please notify the school at least three days prior to the day you plan to attend.
  • We might ask parents to assist in a similar grade level room.
  • Please refrain from using your cell phone while you’re on duty.
  • Please adhere to all of Northside’s rules and regulations, including dress code and respectful attitude.
  • Please complete the survey in the office at 2:50 p.m. or prior to leaving the school.
