What is the Facebook page address?

We have two. One for Northside Elementary School and one for our Northside Elementary PTA.

What time does my child have lunch?

Lunch for kindergarten through second grade begins at 11:15 a.m.

Lunch for third and fourth grades begins at 11:45 a.m.

Can I use a debit card to pay for lunch?

No. The school does not accept debit cards. However, you can pay for your child’s lunch online at MySchoolBucks.

How can I get a message to my child?

We will relay emergency messages to students if we receive them by 2:45 p.m. (1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays). Please have a plan for dismissal before leaving each morning.

What time do I pick up my child?

Our dismissal bell rings at 3:05 p.m. except for Wednesdays when it rings at 1:45 p.m.

Can I bring cupcakes for my child’s birthday?

Yes. We celebrate birthdays on the first Friday of each month. Please note: Due to certain allergies, we cannot allow homemade sweets. You may bring in nutritional birthday snacks any day of the month. However, most teachers still try to designate one day per month for birthdays. Please contact your child’s teacher for more information.

Do I need to send a note to school if my child is absent?

Yes. If your child was ill or absent, please submit an excuse within three school days.

Can I speak to the teacher during the school day?

We do not forward telephone calls during class time. We will give the message to the teacher and ask that they return your call.
